Dan has been playing guitar for over 25 years and found his way into repair work almost by accident. As a full time music teacher, he noticed that students were far less likely to practice when their instruments were difficult to play. High string height, buzzing frets and scratchy pots were all hurdles that impeded student growth. However, when the guitar was properly set up and everything functioned as it should, everything changed — students were inspired to pick it up and play! Since then, Dan has been passionate about helping every instrument perform at its best, whether it’s a high-end guitar or a beginner’s first model.
